Refund Policy and Pre-Camp Injury/Illness Insurance

RSG Refund Policy

Due to our limited enrolment and very low coach/athlete ratios, RSG does not refund deposited moneys except in the case of an injury or illness where the registrant has purchased Pre-Camp Injury/Illness Insurance. No refunds are given if insurance is not purchased since we will likely be unable to fill the space on short notice. RSG will, however, attempt to fill the student's spot in which case a refund (less a 5% administration fee based on the camp cost) may be provided.

Each year we place many prospective registrants onto wait lists due to the demand for our programs. Since we turn potential registrants away to preserve the camp structure and ratios, we often have no method to recover lost revenue due to late cancellations. However, to be fair to participants we have instituted a refund cut-off of sixty (60) days prior to the camp start date; any requests for refunds will be denied after this date subject to the provisions on this page.

Pre-Camp Injury/Illness Insurance Program

Through the RSG Pre-Camp Injury/Illness Insurance Program you have the opportunity to insure your deposited funds and mitigate the risk of losing these funds due to injury or illness; this is an optional program. To register for this program, it must be purchased concurrently with your initial registration at a cost of $50.00 per camp.

Participants in this program may submit a claim to RSG Goaltending Inc. for a refund of your registration fees, less the cost of the insurance and a 5% administration fee (based on the camp cost). Claims may be made by giving notice prior to the start of camp; no refunds are given once camp has started. Approval of claims will be subject to provision of a valid letter from a qualified physician on their office letterhead.

Registration for this program must be made at the time of your original registration.

At-Camp Injuries and Illness

RSG does not provide refunds or credits for lost participation due to injury at camp. Athletes attending are expected to be in superior, athletic condition in order to mitigate this risk. Insured registrations do not apply to at-camp injuries. Similarly, refunds will not be granted for illnesses after the start of camp as we have no method of recovering lost revenue due to these withdrawals.
